If you have chronic headaches or migraines that make life unbearable, it is possible to go through it with natural methods. Here are the formulas that will strengthen your health in this article...
No matter how beautiful the roads are, How cool the night is, The body gets tired, The headache does not get tired.

We wanted to deal with the problem of headaches, which disrupt our daily life quality and cause discomfort to ourselves and those around us, in an easy-to-understand way and to make a generalization about headaches based on the most common one.
A) Migraine is usually different from other headaches with the following features:
It happens on one side of our head. (half a headache)
The pain is throbbing.
It does not wake us up at night, but we can wake up with a headache in the morning.
Quiet and relaxing places are preferred.
Noise, light, odors may disturb and cause nausea.
B) Cluster headache characteristics:
It is usually unilateral around the eyes.
The pain is stabbing or electric shock.
Usually wakes you up in the middle of the night.
The patient cannot stand still.
There is tearing, redness in the eyes and a feeling of congestion in the nose.
Alcohol, fatigue, excessive drug intake can trigger it.
C) Tension-type headache characteristics:
Tension-type headache: It is bilateral and usually starts from the neck and spreads to the whole head.
The pain is like squeezing with a vise.
It can always be continuous.
D) Occipital (back of head) neuralgia features:
Usually unilateral from the back of the head.
Stinging and feeling like stabbing.
It spreads from back to front.
After these generalizations, stress is the most common triggering factor in headaches. Situations that increase the stress experienced can cause headaches. Stress can trigger tension-type headaches and migraines. While stress creates pain by increasing the sensitivity of the neural pathways in the brain, in migraine, vascular enlargement in the brain tissue causes the release of some chemicals, creating active inflammation and triggering migraine pain.
To avoid headaches, pay attention to these:
- Be careful in extreme temperatures.
- Fragrances: make-up paints, perfume (even if it smells good), powders and some flowers can trigger migraines.
- Making the ponytail tight, tight headbands cause tension on the scalp. Resolving or removing them provides rapid recovery.
- Exercise: Excessive tiring exercises and physical strains cause headaches. These pains are seen more in horse riders and are confused with migraine.
- Discomfort: non-ergonomic work tables and chairs, use of computer monitors higher or lower than eye level cause tension-type headaches starting from the neck to increase back and low back pain.
- Excessive use of the mobile phone triggers pain by stretching the neck muscles. This causes the neck to straighten in the future.
- Cheese: Aged cheeses pose a greater risk and the main reason is the tyramine substance found in these old cheeses.
- Red wine: The tyramine substance is also found in this type of wine, and the alcohol in the wine also causes headaches by dilating the blood vessels.
- Frozen food: Again, these foodstuffs contain tyramine and nitrates, which are used as preservatives and cause common bilateral headaches by expanding the blood vessels in the brain.
Stay Away From These Habits
- Snacking and Standing: Fluctuations in blood sugar are the cause of pain.
- Smoking: Those who have cluster headaches can suffer from unilateral headaches even if they are passive smokers. As it is known, nicotine causes narrowing of the blood vessels going to the brain, less oxygen to the brain and ultimately headaches.
- Caffeine: Ironically, although it is found in many painkillers, it causes headaches. Especially smokers should be careful, abruptly interrupted coffee intake shows withdrawal symptoms, the strongest of which is headache.
In addition to alternative treatments and drug treatments, many methods are tried to eliminate migraine pain. Migraine surgery was very popular before, but due to the similar effect of botox, surgery was abandoned. Botox injections were also found to be not a satisfactory solution and were shelved.
Nowadays, “endoscopic migraine treatment” is on the agenda. In this method, the patient is under general anesthesia and surgically, 2 holes are opened from the scalp on the forehead, and the camera tip is inserted through one of these holes and the instruments that will perform the procedure are advanced to the target nerves. Nowadays, painless “radiofrequency migraine treatment”, which is applied without the use of narcosis and scalpel and lasts for 10 minutes, is becoming popular.
- Avoiding stress and other pain triggers that play a role in the formation of headaches. Moderate exercises, non-strenuous nature walks give us powerful opportunities to control stress and tension-type headaches.
- With alternative approaches, for example; massage, meditation, relaxation techniques. Applications such as superficial LASERs, acupressure and acupuncture, neural therapy, and cupping can be tried.
-Eat regularly; Foods with low calorie and sugar content should be preferred, and plenty of fluids should be taken. It is important both for the body not to be hungry and thirsty and not to be exposed to a headache.
If your headache does not go away with the measures you take, you should not hesitate to seek professional help from your doctor.
Ozone (Active Oxygen) therapy:
Especially in migraine, venous dilatation, inflammation and oxygen deficiency are mainly blamed. There is no single application or drug that will affect these three mechanisms. Ozone dilates the arteries and delivers active oxygen to the brain tissue.
Remove Stress
It eliminates the enlargement of the veins that cause pain, with the astringent effect of these vessels. It has a strong anti-inflammatory effect. Its germicidal effect is already among its well-known effects. It provides a good pain relief by eliminating oxidative stress. In other words, ozone is very effective in the correction and regulation of intra-brain events. The method applied from blood, which we call major, is the best.
On which side the patient's migraine is (right eye area, left eye area, nape area), a thin needle is inserted on the nerves known to trigger migraine in that area. The target nerve is precisely determined by giving sensory and motor stimuli with an advanced radiofrequency device. Afterwards, the process called “Lesion” is started, and the nerves that cause migraine attacks are deactivated with a painless application of approximately 8 minutes. Thus, the external sources of migraine are dried. Here, these nerves are rendered incapable of transmitting pain. 90 percent of the treated patients benefit from this method. It is ensured that there are no dangers arising from the surgery, that the procedure is painless, that the results desired to be obtained by the surgery are obtained in a healthier way.
